If you want flowers to maintain their freshness longer, follow our simple care guidelines as follow:
1. Cut the Stems
Trim stems every few days every time you change water. Cut the stems at an angle as it allows for better water intake, remove any leaves below the water line. This not only make your bouquet look better but also prevent bacterial growth.
2. Change the water
Change water entirely every 2-3 days.
3. Clean vase
Wash the vase as it give your flowers a fresh clean environment that is free of bacteria and they will last much longer.
4. Avoid direct sunlight, heat, drafts and fruits
Flowers last longer in an air-conditioned environment. Importantly keep your flowers away from direct sunlight and areas like open windows, cooling vents and ceiling fans as they will cause the flowers to dehydrate much faster. Placing your bouquet near fruits will reduce the longevity of your fresh flowers as ripening fruits release ethylene gas.
5. Use “flower food”
Add on “flower food” every 2-3 days whenever you change water.
